Aides are offered supplementary education at the Confident Care of Florida Corporation offices on a quarterly basis. Topics for these ongoing programs include but not limited to:

• Transfer Techniques utilizing proper body mechanics

• Alzheimer's Training

• Prevention of Falls

• Comforting the Dying Patient and other subjects of interest to the aides and their role with the patients.

• Assistance with self-administration of medication

• CPR training

• Recognition of Abuse and Neglect

• Infection Control

• Effective Communication and Documentation

• Nutrition

• Customer Service skills
